Nomming with Whitney - Inakaya

I honestly found this place just from creeping other people's Facebook photos.  It's an a la carte Japanese restaurant that  is unfortunately way too expensive for me to visit on a regular basis - so I went for my 1 year anniversary dinner with Justin (last August). We haven't been back since because we are too poor :'(   I want to go back again at 2 years and make it become a tradition :D

Fresh Oysters! It was apart of their daily special menu.
Sashimi starter - very fresh!
Amiyaki Beef, only $8.99!!!!
Volcano Roll. It comes on a hot plate with fire surrounding the roll (can't see well in photo).
Rock 'n Roll.  We actually liked this more.
Oyster Tempura Handroll. Ordered this because we still weren't full.

This place is a must try!!! Everything was really fresh and delicious. What we originally came here interested in was the Amiyaki Beef (cubed beef!! you can't get that at regular KBBQ's) and the Volcano Roll. But our favourites ended up being the sashimi and the Rock 'n Roll.  I'm not a huge oyster fan, but Justin really enjoyed the oysters too.

I think our bill did end up to be over $100..but splurging on good Japanese food only every so often seems reasonable, right?
