Last month I bought the deal "$46 for tea at Windsor Arms for 2" from WagJag. It was described as some 90% discount but that was really based on holiday prices ($43), normal prices are only $30/person. I wanted to go during Christmas holidays but it was all booked. But going during non-holiday time meant less tips anyway :D

I tried to dress up.
Made Justin dress up too : )
We weren't able to sit in The Purple Room unfortunately...I think they grouped all the couponers in the more outside room : ( But our view was still nice~

The menu seems quite small per person but was actually really filling:
1) tea of your choice
2) 1 goat cheese and caramelized shallot tart
3) 6 finger sandwiches (2 of each) - smoked salmon, wasabi sour cream, salmon caviar & cucumber with sundried tomato paste, dill cream cheese & grilled chicken, granny smith apples, citrus mayo, greek yogurt and chives
4) 2 scones (plain and raisin) served with jam & devon cream
5) 2 petit fours
6) berries with whipped cream
I got Tibetan Tiger, looks like milk tea after I add milk (Justin got Snow White)
Drinking fancily with pinkies out!
This salmon sandwich was the best!!
Scones & jam were delicious...but very filling...didn't finish my raisin one.
The petit fours - lemon meringue tart, red velvet, caramel mousse?? and some sort of brownie.
So simple but so good!

Overall I enjoyed it : ) Got to eat somewhere fancy and be princess-like for 2 hours. My favourites were the salmon sandwich, the plain scone + jam, and the strawberries & cream. The petit fours were not that good...kind of disappointing actually. The girls beside us traded their petit fours for more sandwiches; Justin and I were like, next time we should trade everything to the salmon sandwich LOL. The cucumber sandwich was pretty good, but the chicken one was super dry.
And I suppose there is no dress code really despite the reviews I read online...because the girl beside me was dressed in a full hot pink velvety track suit (she wasn't even a couponer!) I'm interested now in trying other tea places especially the one my friend Adrienne told me about - The Old Curiosity Tea Shop since its right in Markham!!

high tea is the best!
